Application
Apply 200g of bait per 100m2
ground surface. Scatter the
ready-to-use bait evenly in and
around animal housing onto
surfaces where flies congregate. You
may either scatter or place
in a dish or pan on window-sills,
top of walls, edges, or walk ways.

Rather than kill on contact, AGITA works within a small radius of the product. Agita is formulated with Tricosene,the sex pheromone that female house flies release to attract males for mating.
Once ingested, control is very effective. Not all flies die directly on the bait, some still fly a short distance. But it’s the last flight of the fly – about 75% will be found within
1 metre of the bait, and all flies will die within 2 metres. Meanwhile, the bait stays clean, attractive and effective
for longer.

Innovative new chemistry,
devoid of cross resistence
AGITA works effectively due to the active ingredient thiamethoxam.
Thiamethoxam is a second-generation neonicotinoid a new class
of insecticides.
Neonicotinoids interfere with the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors
at the postsynaptic membrane.
This mode of action is new and different from that of current insecticides. So neonicotinoids are devoid of
cross resistance and are well suited to control flies resistant to other insecticides like pyrethroids,
organophosphates and carbarnates.
Excellent safety profile
AGITA comes in a dust-free formulation that allows targeted application on resting areas of flies. It is safe
for beneficial insects, animals, workers and the environment, and contains BITREX, a bitter substance that
prevents animals and children from accidentally ingesting it.
